Beardsley Zoo

It has taken us a few weeks to get these pictures from our trip to the Beardsley Zoo on the blog!! Doug's dad was in the hospital and then the day he got out my dad was taken by ambulance from one hospital to the Lahey Clinic where he is still in intensive care two weeks later. Please add him to your church's prayer chains and remember him in your prayers. He is still very sick.

Here is a picture of the guys enjoying a rest on the alligator at the Beardsley Zoo. It amazes me every time I look at these pictures to see that the boys are nearly the same size as their dad!!!

Jason: "My favorite animals at the zoo were the prairie dogs. At first they ran into their burrows when they saw us, but then they got more comfortable and came out and watched us. In this picture, you can see the baby. It was really cute."






Sam: "My favorite animals were the otters. I thought it was cool that they could stand on two feet. I liked that they were really fast in the water."
